It’s hard to believe we haven’t met!
Being a native Rochesterian, one of my strengths is that I know lots of people.
Over the years I have increased my professional network through media sales positions at WHEC and WOKR as well as at my own media buying business and most recently, as the Executive Director of the Seneca Park Zoo Society.
Because of my many community interests, I have valued friends at Rochester Rotary, the Women’s Council of the Rochester Business Alliance, the United Way Women’s Leadership Committee, the Rochester Garden Club, the Red Cross Casting for Caring event, The Community Foundation’s Communications Committee and Dress for Success. There are lots of talented and dedicated people in our community who share my desire to see Rochester thrive!
I also had the privilege of being recognized for my commitment to nonprofits by having been twice nominated for the ATHENA Award. Additionally, I was a Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 nominee, and a recipient of the Service Above Self award by the Rochester Rotary Club.
My Master’s Degree in Public Administration equipped me to deal with the fundamental challenges nonprofit administrators must overcome, and I have continued my education by attending national fundraising conferences and am familiar with Raiser’s Edge software, budgeting, and iwave prospect research.
